A simple, step-by-step guide

If you already have Google Analytics set up but you want to give access to someone else so they can see your analytics then just follow these steps.

Step 1 — Log in to Google Analytics

Go to: analytics.google.com
Log in with the Google account your website is connected to.

Step 2 — Open the Admin Settings

On the bottom left-hand corner, click the Admin (cog icon).

Step 3 — Check You’re in the Right Account

At the top of the Admin panel, confirm you’re in the account that matches your website.

Step 4 — Go to “Property Access Management”

Under the Property column (middle column), click:
Property Access Management

This is where you can add a new user.

Step 5 — Add a New User

Click the blue + button in the top right, then choose:
Add Users

Enter the email address of the person you want to give access to.

Tick these permissions:
✔ “Viewer”
✔ “Analyst”
